Weather in Mexico City

April to June are the driest and hottest months of the year in Mexico's capital city, but the temperatures don't get uncomfortable thanks to its altitude. Temperatures peak at around 26°C (79°F). Warm days continue after this month, but afternoon or early evening rain showers are frequent between June and October. The week before Easter when the city celebrates Semana Santa is one of the best times to visit Mexico City. November to February are the coolest months when temperatures are around 20°C (69°F) and also when air pollution tends to be at its worst.
