Casablanca enjoys a Mediterranean climate with many glorious warm and sunny days, making it a year-round holiday destination.

Spring (March to May) sees temperatures climb steadily to 18°C (64°F), making it a good time to visit Casablanca. As most museums and historical sites are less busy during this period, you can thoroughly enjoy the cultural side of the city.

Summer (June to August) is sunny and dry, perfect for a beach holiday. July also welcomes both the Festival de Casablanca and the Feast of the Throne.

Autumn (September to November) starts off warm and dry, but rain starts to fall by early November.

Winter (December to February) is cool, with temperatures hovering around 13°C (55°F). Expect a few rainy days too.

This high-end Casablanca hotel boasts 255 bedrooms and suites, an outdoor pool (summer only), a gym, squash courts, a sauna, hammam baths, three restaurants and the Casablanca nightclub, which is themed on Rick's Place from the 1942 Bogart/Bergman movie. Rooms are spacious, luxurious and air-conditioned. It is big and therefore slightly impersonal, but when you want service it is meticulous.

Edith Piaf once stayed in this 1922 colonial time-warp that has been sympathetically refurbished to preserve its nostalgic ambience. The guestrooms are nicely furnished and there's a bar and restaurant plus nightly cabaret shows.
