Bus tours

The open-roof Valencia Bus Turistic operates a daily, hop-on hop-off service that covers Valencia's main attractions. From March to December, it also runs a separate service to La Albufera, and during March's Fallas festival it offers a special service that tours the city's celebrations at a leisurely pace. Tickets are available online, in hotels, from tourist information counters and on the bus itself.

Walking and bike tours

Valencia Guias, the city's official tour company, organises themed walking and biking tours around Valencia. Choose from historical tours that centre on the old quarters, night tours that include a chance to sample local drinks or city tapas tours. Bicycle tours can be organised in groups or individually, with four different routes available.

Valencia excursions

Benicàssim

Best known for its annual festival, the village of Benicàssim comes alive every summer with an array of musical performances from international acts. Away from the all-night-party of Festival Internacional de Benicàssim, a multitude of nature walks, cycling routes and cultural attractions are to be found. The village is located an hour from Valencia's city centre.

Castelló de la Plana

Situated an hour from Valencia, the medieval city of Castelló de la Plana offers a multitude of museums, historical buildings and culinary delights. Essential sights include the Saint Miquel Palace, the Ethnological Museum and el Fadri, a 16th-century bell tower.
